When do i service my car?

Dad juz bought the new E250 from his PI friend and he dunno when is the first service mileage.. His first time buying from PI. And where do u guys recommand to do servicing from outside workshop that can do proper n standard merc servicing other than C&C?

Like don't have a workshop.. And dad told him he got friend that has workshop.. Our audi A6 use to b service by dad's friend but i don't really trust them.. I mean so far audi they did it good and nice..But wanna find a workshop that i can see them doing servicing..

Hmm strange as usually most PIs will definitely have some contracts/links to recommended workshops.

U are right Leon that if not all the PI has their appointed workshops.

Like my Q5 from Vincar, had a choice of Eurohaus or MBM.

I chose Eurohaus cos they are more familar with Audi & VW

whereas MBM do more Merc. :becky:

Abt servicing - for Audi we are advise to do the 1st service @ 15K km

but the usual kiasuism there, I did the 1st servicing @ 1K km.

IMHO! No!

I send my previous 1+ yr old W211 for "normal servicing"

I was charged abt lower $200 with full synthetic Mobil 1.

C & C should be abt $300+ for normal servicing.

thanks everyone for ur reply..anyway i heard frm pple my brand new car servicing is 10000km.. so long time to decide where to service..
