phwoar hardcore lah. it's a very goth looking scene nowadays!

cannot tahan too noisy now that I'm older. to think i used to like megadeth, metallica, ratt and all that in college. Found the scene a little too "negative" and did a polar switch to trance, techno in the late 90s which flaked off rather quickly. Dabbled abit in hip hop and returned to smooth jazz and a dash of rock... I find myself drawn to opera now..

Actually I feel that Amy Lee gives goth a bad name. She's just a wannabe compared to the hardcore goth metalheads.

I suppose it's only natural that our musical tastes evolve over time.

In addition to being a hardcore metalhead, I also am quite a fan of classical as I learnt classical piano and grew up on church music, as well as quality pop acts like The Corrs, Celtic/folk like Clannad, North American rock like Nickelback, Green Day.

Basically any kind of music with intelligent lyrics, an intoxicating bassline and a great melody goes down well with me.

No rap or hip-hop for me! **shudder**

P.S. I like Sarah McLachlan too.

Ok....we are getting out of this post topic ......and I am going to join in too.

Since we have people here who are into music, maybe we can do a meetup with music as the theme. something like sharing music, finding out what is nice,......and whatever.
