I thought slotted disc are not very pad friendly and mainly used for tracking ? ???

go for AMG brakes set! but bare in mind, you must have at least 17in rims to clear the rotors

but I had just seen a W124 CE with the AMG brakes set(front only) but with 18in rims

trying out the pads reccommened by my mechanic. was told brake dust is minimal =)

one advise from my mech was that,

some pads may give you less dust but the braking effect really suffers!

i fitted the oe replacement alrdy cos both my pads and rotor is on the verge alrdy. the drilled 1 i will order for the next replacement.

How much is the rotor? I was quoted 60+ for the front n 50+ for the rear. OEm parts

No idea cos was quoted by my workshop. So you got from stocklist and install by workshop? How much they charge for the workmanship?
