In a few month the paper value is due to fall to 0. Why would this owner renew COE and attempt to sell now rather than scrap?

Also; Any info on a used black 230CE but with 300km on clock? I like the looks of it and am tempted by it, should I see a psychiatrist?

For the query on the 240 if he is successful at selling the car for 65k, he stands to gain $20k more than if he scraps it.
