Catalytic Converter cleaning

Hi my car about 83k mileage, necessary for catalytic converters cleaning? I’ve been seeing Liqui Moly catalytic cleaning solution, anyone tried? What’s the effectiveness and possible DIY? Thanks

I have a code reads P0420 which i think lead to converter issues. What i did was the followings:

01) Purchase 2 bottles of Cataclean

02) Pour one bottle into fuel tank with a quarter filled

03) Run for 25km and fill up the fuel tank (P0420 code gone)

04) Did the same things after fuel tank reaches a quarter.

I guess my catalytic converter is cleaned now as till now P0420 is history.
