Continuous beep tone when released the brake pedal

Recommended Posts

Hi, I have a 2016 Mercedes W212. There is a continuous beep tone coming from below the steering dash when I released the brake pedal. It happens when the car engine is running. The tone stops when I tap/step on the brake pedal. Any idea what may be the issues?

Sounds like the proximity warning for the anti-collision.  Have you tried deactivating your parking sensors by pressing the "P" button at the side of the media touch pad?  Any visual indication of the proximity warning indicators on the dash/rear windshield?
