Some questions and concerns regarding W210.

Hi guys as u know i m new here. hehe. now i have new concerns after my rim/tyres queries(bros here are friendly and fast replying)

ride: silver 1996 E200.

Hmmm, heres my concerns:

1) Being a oldie, doors are making squeaking noise. (how do i troubleshoot this? diy or send to, where?)

2) Where do i get accessories like new grills/gear knob/'E200' wording at the rear etc?

3) How much will it cost to repaint the car? intending to change to grey! ehehe. and agian. where you guys recommend

4) as for grooming and servicing. this is my first car. haha. i m totally lost with this one. just dun wan get rip-off. so then again. your recommendation and advices/tips will be of much help than u can imagine. hehehe.

5) Anyone here DIY groom their interior? to make it smell brand new again?

6) where can i change my license plate to euro style? and again price range?

btw i m in the westside area.

> try spray WD40 on the hinges of the door ... see if it will help

U might wanna change the hinges if spraying lubricant fails?? For workshop, there is one in Alexandra area specialise in merces too. If not look for our site sponsor MBM, they are the expert!!!

Yap, is 1K plus and above, there are few spray paint workshop in the west, let me know if u wanna try them out.

Rip off? nah, as long as u join the forum here and get infro from the bru, u will be safe. For one time grooming charges ranges from $160 to $500, do a search here u will able to get all the information. For me i m with First Ventures, they are situated at toh guan rd and they are the site sponsor here.

Almost every week, I would DIY my interior, exterior till the engine bay area. To maintain the new leather smell like brandnew is almost every car's owner dreams!!!

Ubi road 1 there are couple of them, including sticker thingy too. Have u try Jurongpoint basement? The one selling car accessories, they shld have it. Yes, is illegally to have Euro style, once u got caught, there goes yr $70!!!!

i heard that folks using non-MB liquids ended up with cracked dashboards and cracked leather seats due to chemical corrsion on the plastics of the dashboard. Is this true ??

For me, usually not free after 8.30 pm, i need to work part time to pay installement for my ride. For this weekend, i will wash my ride either on Sat or Sun around 10.30 am.
