The initial outlay must be there for the gear, but after that, the chemical cost is much cheaper then if I were to send it for developing.

You do not need a darkroom for developing negatives, only need one if you do printing. Also, alot of the chemicals can be recycled (u must store them properly). But when I have my own house in the future, I would want a dark room to do my own printing :bboyspin:

Developer (can be recycled)

Stop Bath (optional)

Fixer (can be recycled)

Photoflo (can use Mama Lemon to replace)

but think about it, 8,9pm alone in darkroom at school, it's kind of scary..
