Hi, Welcome to the B club. I hope you will enjoy the car as much as we do. Just remember a little patience needed as the car tend to get better after the first 10K.

The only gripes I had with this car was the stock sound system. I regreted not installing the Harmon Kardon Logic 7 system and has since researching how to replace the Audio20 system. Frankly (and many will beg to differ), it was just too difficult to get any good advice in Singapore because there aren't many installer here who had experience of integrating HU with the B. Also Mercedes made it tough to install any custom system on this platform because the car uses a chained fibre optic network called MOST which acts like a mini network (hence the need to integrate or chained if you want to retain control on your steering wheel).

Apparently the stock stereo system is the first thing Japanese get rid of from their new B ... Here are some inspiratoin for you ... I am getting my fix after the warranty expires next year ....

This is the most crazy ...

And dont forget about the Integrated Rear Camera

Last but not least, phone integration. (But this should be irrelevant bcos the face lifted B has phone integration)

i've got exactly that (except its Kenwood) so if they find a way to integrate everything then its power!

Do you read Japanese ? Here's one of the web stores that sells the face plate for B Class HU replacement and the CAN the adaptor for integration of the controls. Personally, I advice you check with yr c&c sales or service exec whether such a change would void the warranty (this is more complex compared to speaker woofer replacement). Or you try to live with your stock system first ... like me.

stock sound system is ok to my ears, so i think i'll sell off my other stuff. seems like there really is a subwoofer somewhere. the tweeters are definitely there - on the A pillars. :punk1:

I am second to this stock setup is quite good, so I didn't install my ICE into this car. Collected all my gears from New Generation, I will put it on sale soon.
