Was watching a program on cable telly featuring the renowned designer Ralph Lauren who happens to be an avid car collector. His collection includes rare and exotic models such as the Bugatti 57SC Atlantic Coupe which is absolutely drop dead gorgeous. Here's a car that sits in his private collection - the Mercedes-Benz SSK made in 1930 in Sindelfingen. It's a supercharged 7 litre 6 cyl twin carb dual ignitioned wonder considering the period it was made in.

Guess what - it was designed by Ferdinand Porsche!! Pure inspiration. Looks almost like a secret luftwaffe jet plane..

Trivia - The venerable W124 500E was the other collaborative effort between Porsche and Mercedes-Benz. The shape is totally wicked. Ooooh I'm in love....

Wow this looks AMAZING! Too bad we don't have Concours car show events in SG, plus there aren't many nice cars from even the 1980s in our country.
