Merc Newbie with a Question

Hi All,

 

Just got myself a used 2010 W212 E300 Avantgarde and I am a first time Merc owner.

 

Hope someone can help me with this little issue: Is there any way to turn off all the lights (headlamps, sidelights, DRL) when the car is stopped/parked and with the engine running?

 

I sought answers from the handbook but to no avail.

Hi, try "playing" flipping with the light knob/selector located on the driver's side.

Turn the knob left to enable parking lights? Counter-intuitive, but parking lights won't come on with engine running. Works on some models

Snsd555, the light control switch on my car doesn't even have "OFF" .

mountaingoat_gray, nope doesn't work. 1 side of the lamp and both rear lights remains switched on.

Walau, like that can't Seletar reservoir liao!

Lol. Think u will need a mod switch to kill all the lights. Ha

hahaha... for W221, lights can be adjusted via the command center.

 

for W212, believe you can also adjust via the command center. Press the left button, I think, on the steering and you may find the "convenience" function.
