W204 C63 Instrument Cluster/Speedo Retrofit

Sorry I missed the GTG at GarageR today (25 June 2016) but I have a pretty good reason for it!

Introducing my latest project:

Original coloured C63 AMG Instrument Cluster retrofitted for my car (non-AMG)! All the dials are working and reading well. This has been a long time project of mine and after numerous failures, our site sponsor EleBest was able to get things working for me. Really thumbs up to Max! He has been really responsive and helpful throughout this retrofit project.

FYI, I do not receive any benefits from him, just a very happy customer!

Enjoy:

Just for reference, this is what the stock cluster looks like. Speedo till 260Kph, no AMG menu, etc.:

So now your car is brand new with odometer reading start at 0 km?

Nope, it's able to read the original mileage. Everything works as it should, not even 0.1cm missing from the odometer.

Getting the new cluster to retrieve my original mileage was the main and biggest issue I faced in this retrofit. My original installers had a horrendous time trying to get the speedometer to retrieve the car's mileage. Believe me, I've been working on a solution for almost a year with no results till today. Without what EleBest did, when the new odometer is plugged into the car, the mileage reading will actually be ----------. It won't even show 0 km! So technically it can't even be used because it doesn't even count the mileage at all.
