Rs chip is crap. I am going for dimsports tuning. the The Dimsport tuning tool is on its way back for upgrade. Once back going for it. Prefer customised tuning.

Which tuner you going to for Dimsports & price.. ?

I am going to let benny of dynotechnica to tune my ride. I trust him, with his decades of tuning experience and profound knowledge. I am certain can get better fuel consumption as well as power. :) pricing wise update u as his dimsports on the way back. Soon will update u. Hehe

Hi, any bros with experience and comparison with the 2 piggybacks ecu products?

Bringing back an old thread because I've just installed RaceChip.

Likes:

  1. Easy installation, only uses 2 sensors on my car. Took me less than 10 mins to connect and tie everything up.
  2. Felt the additional power kicks in at around 2k rpm. Can feel a significant tighter pull from 3k to near 4k rpm.
  3. Notice my gear 1 can reach almost to redline in sports mode. Previously can't (unless I use manual mode).
  4. New power: 446hp, 563nm torque! Sounds nice on paper to boast around!  (maybe should go for a Dyno)

Dislikes:

  1. Hardness too short. Wanted to place the RaceChip in a cooler area of the engine bay, but can't reach.
  2. Need to dismantle everytime going for servicing.
  3. Would be good to have a clearer installation manual to locate the sensor.
