Moderator: Seeking clarification

I have started 2 posts on AMG sports steering wheel which had gone missing. I am not sure if it is due to system error or the threads were deleted by moderators. If its the latter, I was not informed via PM or email. Perhaps moderators could enlighten on the incident.

The rules are clearly stated in a sticky post in case you haven't bothered to read them. You may not agree with them as you have previously stated but please try and understand that we are protecting the board from abuse.

It is not that I don't bother to read them. I know the rules already when my 1st thread was deleted. Thank you for the clarification.

Knowingly, I still posted my 2nd and 3rd one thinking that the above rule is no longer in force. Why? Because I have seen the following threads being posted and I monitor them for a few days and realised that no action was taken at all:

I am appealing to the admin team to treat every forumer here fairly. Afterall we join the forum for the love of our Mercedes Benz, with the objectives of making new friends and sharing car-related issues and solutions.

I understand that MBM is a sponsor. And I have openly criticiced MBM for its lack of knowledge of AMG C63 steering wheel when I spoke to the salesman. I hope there is no politics involved and that is not the reason why I was censored.

I still respect the forum rules, and I understand what you are doing is for the good of the forum, although I still cannot see why the selling rules are against the newbies. Newbies can also offer good deals for the forumers wat ;D

The moderators are too rev happy when it comes to my posts. My last post was deleted in minutes, while others are left alone for days. Thus I have the wrong impression that it is all potically driven. I am sorry and thanks for the clarification.

And I need to apologise to Gaton and Daywalker. Their WTS posts were deleted because of me.

May I suggest to moderators that should you need to delete our posts, perhaps you could just drop us a mail or PM, let us know the reason. This way we can avoid any misunderdstandings that may arise.

from wat i understand, the forum moderators are monitoring those who post WTS for business purposes (but some times, some do get away with it. moderators are human too :banghead:). or joining the forum just to make a quick buck by selling some stuff. this is really taking advantage of this forum as members do not pay any fees to join. furthermore, we have sponsors that do pay a fee for their advertisements. this is really very unfair to them.

as i can see, tategoi is truly a member of the forum with genuine post. btw, we have yet to meet up with u yet. so please, dont be a stranger & do join us for our regular meet-ups so that we can put a face to your nick (this goes to all new members as well).

unfortunately, gaston did post some WTS but was also told about the conditions of the posting in WTS. even though gaston have joined us for a few events, the moderators need the specific numbers of post from a member, in order to firm up that they are 'real' members of the forum & not someone who is out to take advantage of this forum.

hope this clears up the mis-understanding.

Initially I thought the deletion was politically driven, but now moderators have clarified, I had apologised for my wrong assumption, and I hope to move on.
