Current A180 (W176) upgradable to support CarPlay?

I saw in the press release for 2016 A-series indicating support for CarPlay (http://media.daimler.com/dcmedia/0-921-1821860-1-1824533-1-0-0-0-0-1-0-1549054-0-1-0-0-0-0-0.html?TS=1435406000454).

 

Does anyone knows if the current A180 (W176) system can be upgraded to support CarPlay?

Will it be a software upgrade or need to replace the entire infotainment system?

Think for the post facelift you need at least Comand to have CarPlay.

"In the case of e.g. Apple^® CarPlay^® the system supports telephoning, navigation and listening to music, receiving and sending SMS and emails as well as Siri voice control. To avoid distracting the driver during a journey, only the relevant smartphone content is displayed on-screen."

Note that with just basic spec Audio 20 you can already telephone and listen to music thru either bluetooth or Media Interface cable

I use Siri quite a lot while driving. Sad...Comand is a very expensive upgrade.

For non-command, can opt for the cheaper option i.e. mirroring.
