Welcome! I don't think there's an "alarm" system attached to the key but the lights may flash and horn may sound if break-in is detected. I believe there's motion detection within the car to detect in case someone smashes your windows and sticks their hands in to steal things. There is also an anti-tow feature.

If you like to hear the honk sound thrice when locking and once when unlocking, you can activate "acoustic feedback" from the service menu on your dash controls. Hope this answers your questions.

I just tried this morning. From the settings menu, there are only options for language and display. Guess mine does not have the acoustic feedback/horn feature :(

Is an option feature from See&See. PI car comes with it though.

I see. If this is not an option in my car, will the horn still sound if there's a break-in?

Thanks.

Hmm i wouldnt know, u can test it by breaking one of the window after which u can clam it from insurance :)

Bro BM!! Hahahaha...

It's easy. You just leave a window DOWN, lock your car. Be careful not to hold the lock button as it will roll up your windows. Then stick your hands in and wave them around... It's pretty sensitive... I'm not sure what will happen if you do it too often... maybe kenna lockdown not my problem! *Disclaimer*
