My audio 20 does not detect my media i.e. Iphone 4 and iPod when engine starts.

Anyone face this issue ? My ride is w205

Could be a loose connection or faulty cable!

Cheers

Sorry, I was not specific in my previous post. When I plugged in my iPod/ iPhone , it could detect. However, after the engine is off and on (after more than 30 mins) it does not detect the iPod / iPhone. I am using a cable. For it to detect, I need to unplugged and plugged in again.

Anyone face similar issue?

Try to borrow another Media Interface Cable? and check if its the cable has issue.

The world Most dangerous thing is the Vehicle. Its not about the machine weather its slow or fast. Its the person who is controlling it. The driver is the brain of the Machine. Not the machine itself.

If the driver reacts slow even the most powerful ABS(Auto braking system) will not help. The driver has to give the car the command in Order for the car to react. Afterall he is the brain of the car.

For Bros with w205, it is confirmed that it does not work.  I have send it to C&C to check on this.

When your iPod, iPhone is connected before the engine starts, the Audio 20 cannot detect the media and will display as Media not found. You need to unplugged and plugged it back for the Headunit to detect the media.

I found it not acceptable for such a standard feature.  Have opened a ticket with C&C.

Any Bros can experience otherwise please let me know.

Thanks!

I experienced exactly the same issue as yours. Will also raise a ticket with CnC

Thanks John. I feel this is not acceptable.

Some other issues I experienced:

1) When you signal light is left or Right and when you turn the steering on the opposite direction as the signal, there is a "cracking" sound

2) There is this like soft rattling sound from the dash board

Do you experience these?

No, I have not experienced these two issues.
