Interesting observation in the sales threads… just saying...

been around here for a while and this may have been talked about before...

 

noticed something interesting in our sales thread - very often, I noticed that the resale prices of used items are not very marketable.

 

it means a few things:

 

1. sellers do not do market research on the market prices.

 

2. sellers know the market prices but will try to get the best prices for themselves in the hope that potential buyers are unaware.

 

buyers are not an easy group to deal, from my humble experiences here.

 

"best price?"

 

"no budget, can lower?"

 

"need wife's approval for the purchase so can lower to help?"

 

why i say interesting is ain't we all owners of possibly one of the more expensive make in S'pore?  and the little observations do not seem to reflect so.  of course, there are very nice experiences eg. our resident Unkle, who is super cool.

 

just an interesting observation for sharing, and just saying only.

seller wants to sell as high as possible, buyer wants it free if possible.
