GPS FOR W204

Which aftermarket GPS is the best value for money?  I intend to install one on my W204.  Usage on both Singapore and Malaysia roads.   Some advise on this will be appreciated and the price range.  Thank you.

In my mobiles & iPad, I've Google Maps, Waze, NAVFONE (paid less than S$3.00 from iTune), mapSYNG

Only in use for land business trips in Malaysia with Co car & driver .

 

 

At home I've Garmin Nuvi 670 (9 years old & running strong after a battery change 4 years ago) - use it in Indonesia

 

In my car glove compartment, I've my toy Garmin Nuvi 2792LM (7" full VGA screen) - When COMAND Nav fails (hardly)

 

I've factory fitted COMAND Navigation in my ride. 

 

These are the Garmins that I've owned and sold over the last 10 years.

They were being upgraded or each served it own purpose.

Nuvi 310 (1st garmin), Nuvi 1460 (5" screen), Nuvi 3790V (full VGA glossy screen), Nuvi 285WT (free from CnC), GVN53 (in car gps with MMI), GPS60CSx (For tracking & logging routes)

 

So if you ask me which portable GPS - GARMIN

Why?

• "inexpensive"
• quick satellites lock on
• Life Time MYSG Garmin Map Updates (Models with LM)
• frequent MYSG free map updates from Malfreemaps & Malsingmaps
• frequent whole Indonesia free map updates from Navigasinet
• found them to be reliable after using them for the last 10 years
• Garmin based maps for other countries are easily "accessible"

Yep garmin gets my vote too just comes down to what model you want maps are aplenty in the malsing web site and its all free to boot !
