I bought Sharp IG-BC2UB from Amazon.com including shipping about S$100.00

On it's way to me!

Cheers

I'm a MB Whore! :)

I used to have this Sharp cluster ionizer till I change to Philips. Just find the Sharp thingy too cumbersome on the center console.

Btw, the Philips thingy is an air purifier like the one for home....with true hepa filter. Good for hazy weather that's coming soon.

I connect it to the 12V socket in the glove compartment.

This looks good. Without having to sacrifice the x2 cup holder space near hand-rest

Keen to get this GoPure too.

I have yet to collect my CLA200.  Any CLA owners can confirm whether does it  have a 12V socket inside the glove compartment?

Thanks in advance

If I were you, I'll drop by C&C to chk it out on the showroom car.

Bro jtang,

So, how is your experience with the Philips Go Pure?  Is it effective and can you feel the difference in the cabin air quality when you used it vs when you don't use it?

Thanks!

It works like a charm. Air quality is better for sure as I don't get any foul smell in my aircon. Btw, there's a compartment in the Go Pure unit that can fit a small bottle of fragrance. Go Pure has 3 varieties of fragrance to choose....not too overpowering like the ambi pure or others , gives the car a nice light fragrance when it works.

I saw the higher end model (only 2 models) retailing at $350 in Autobacs....I think. Mine (lower end) only $180 at Philips Carnival.

The difference between these models is that the higher end one comes with a 4 speed fan (vs 2speed) & a built in indicator that tells you to change the hepa filter when its dirty.

Bought the sharp ionizer at best denki for $159 on Monday.

So far so good...

How long does it take for it to purify the air in your car?

Can you smell the difference after using it?

Am thinking of buying one too and the Sharp one does look compact (and cheaper) vs the Philips.

Bought a Denso ion generator which is very similar to the Sharp but at half the price of Sharp.  So far so good.

If anyone is keen, go direct to their office to buy it.  Cash and carry.  They have stock now.

In fact, Denso and Sharp are some how related.
