The Origins of Silver Arrow

"Silver Arrow was constructed from Wonder Woman's bulletproof bracelets formed from the remnants of Athena's legendary shield, the Aegis. These forearm guards were indestructible and were able to absorb the impact of incoming attacks, allowing Wonder Woman to deflect automatic weapons, fire and energy blasts.

Zeus, father of Wonder Woman had gotten The God of Hephaestus to modify the bracelets to allow his daughter, the ability to manifest a sword of grayish metal from each bracelet. Each sword, marked with a silver star, took the shape from a flash of a 3 spoke lightning.

In one of her greatest battles to protect Earth, the manifested grey sword from Wonder Woman's right bracelet descended to Earth as Silver Arrow, to replace Night Wing in the early beginnings of Infinite Crisis.
