CLC is basically a W203 in a new shell. The interior is still a W203.

Go for the W204 unless you like the 2 door CLC format.

What is CLC? I thought only have CLK or CLS? :D

CLC is the coupe version of the W204..

But as Cklasse said, it's still based on the W203 but with a W204 look.

Thanks bro,

Wonder if I can also change my W203 to the W204 look. :D

mercedes isnt so good when it comes to fuel consumption. the CLC is based on a year 2000 body and chassis.....i'd say go for the new C180 sedan over any CLC. the CLC i believe still has the old model's dashboard.

Check out the Sunday Times UK Review on the CLC - it is essentially a 203 with modified components, a new front and rear end. Roof and doors have been retained.

  • 3 weeks later...

I drive a C-class Sports Coupe and even I, recommend you buy the W204.

I like my CL203, and I believe the CLC is a good car too, but it really is just a facelift. Is it even made in Germany? I remember seeing reports that it is made in Brazil.

Just a thought :offtopic:.....having the type of door handle that all Merc cars have may have it's reason.

In times of emergency, these handles provide a better means to pull the door open compared to those on most Jap cars.
