That's strange... Maybe the gurus here could enlighten u..... I'm using 245 19" and I can feel the rubbing when going past flyovers... Still contemplating whether to change back to 18" for some comfort.....

  • 3 weeks later...

Went to the tyre shop, was taichi to the workshop....

Apparently there is nothing wrong according to the workshop. Seems like the right suspension has become softer than the left. Workshop owner say its not really a big issue just irritating burring sound when damp too hard. Would not see this prob if its 18" instead.

I am thinking if getting a new set of spring would solve the prob. Anyone knows whats the damage like?

Just change tires today. Same size same brand.... now I have some rubbing sound when my rear shock damp.

Not sure where the problem is.

Mine is a w204 with rear 265/30R19. No problem with the previous sets of tires.

Not sure if wheel alignment is going to solve this.

I'm using 19" for my W204 too. The right size for the rear should be 255/30/19....guarantee no rubbing.
