China Taiping.....cheapest among 8 companies who quoted but I don't know if the others have this clause

I was denied a quote from NTUC when it was known to them that I had a modification to the exhaust which has LTA approval certification.

Not sure if its Aviva or AXA. I read before that claims will be complicated when modifications are found on the insured vehicle. Such statement is really a show stopper for me. Too BIG a clause and its tough to draw the line.

Aviva has the same clause, if they find out that your car has mods, regardless if its approved or not, they will not insure you, and may even rescind your insurance with them.
