Bros, not sure if this has been discussed before. Seems like I was not able to find it.

I am intending to replace the stock spark plugs to iridium ones. Any advice what brands and models are available in the market for a FL W204K?

I believe our Mercs are using Bosch platinum plugs. These are quite lasting. If you want to change them to iridium , make sure the heat range is right.

Eh? I thought some Merc OEM is Iridium already?

really? Didn't knew that. I'll check with CnC during next servicing.

Replacing the iradium spark plugs will lead to a more powerful car?

It improves the throttle response can feel ride is livelier. But that I can only experienced from a Japanese NA car but have not tried on kompressor or turbo cars

I have change the spark plugs for W204 before.

The stock part number as on the cover itself is A004 159 58 03. 

When i open it up , the number on the spark plugs itself is NGK PLKR 7B8E

S$18 each from Eng Soon.

 

Not sure if it Iridium. Saw the work "NGK R" on the plug itself. I have picture trying to upload
