DIY Side Mirrors (PFL to FL)

Just wondering if anyone here had their hands on changing side mirrors(DIY)?

I have been searching online for a step-by-step guide on how to swop W204 side mirrors (from old big indicator type to the new arrow head type) but did not yield any results.

Any inputs greatly appreciated!

Bro not flaming U ok? But I suppose you never search with correct or close enough keywords. All I did was type in 'how to change W204 old mirror to new' in Google & the very 1st link took me to this;

Check it out. Cheers!

I managed to source a pair of mirrors from a 2011 W204 from a UK scrap yard that's on ebay. Received in 3 days, absolutely mint condition and was even in a matching color (palladium). Cost a fraction of the price to buy the parts from local stockist.Took me less than 15mins to swap the mirrors! There are quite a number of such deals from scrap yards, who're stripping cars that've been presumably wrecked elsewhere. A plus for us (versus ordering from other countries) is that UK is also right hand drive, which means the mirror dimming is on the right side.

sorry but is your link correct? can you also share how much you spent on the mirrors?

I realised recently that pfl mirrors can be easily converted to carbon fiber arrow head type with a simple diy. these come without the "manners" light though.

damage is around SGD$400 (shipping included).
