Any Vintage merc owners out there?

Any Vintage merc owners out there?

 

There are a few members that own vintage MBs but don't have the habit of logging into the forum. You'd have a better chance at contacting them via the Heritage Car Club Singapore. Have had previous interaction with some of their members and it's hard to hold a candle to the passion and love they have for their vehicles.

 

Personally, vintage styling is the most standout feature from that era and I think the best marriage (blasphemous to purists nontheless) would be vintage 50s/60s/70s style to the modern mechanical reliability and robustness of the late 80s, early 90s MBs with minimal electronics built into the system.

How vintage? Most of the guys I know with the really old school stuff don't really hang out on forums. The 123/124/126/201 guys have regular get togethers.. also at kopitiams.. admittedly the subject matter tends to revolve less around modification and more towards maintenance

Haha yes some certainly are, though interestingly, there are a few really young chaps who are just as enthusiastic!
