Active Engine Hood Malfunction! HELP ME!

hi & good morning, anyone tio this before? how to settle it? i almost spent a whole week to get ruin of this but yet to get ruin of it.. i almost spend $1000 on this things. please advise.. thanks. by the way, my car is a E250 cab

i saw the bill from the workshop. mine is a PI. never tio accident before leh.. this car just 1 month old leh..

they keep figuring the issue but no one solve this. i went to other workshop & they told me the same thing.. the item they going to change is the same as the workshop that change those items too.

i read the manual book and try to figure but figure till very pek cek.. lol..

Remove the bonnet, maybe the problem will go away.....   :D

This is a safety feature from mercs. In the event of accident the bonnet will pop upwards which avoiding hitting directly onto the windscreen. Since yr car is brandnew u can claim against the PI for the warranty, if this route is not working then apply the lemon law. Hope this helps!! Good luck!!

i belive this feature is startig to have from mercedes.. btw, i called MBM & C&C but they say that they never expriance with the issue & that they need to diagnose and check.. lol

My workshop cannot handle this kind of things that can't be fixed with hammer and TNT.

Better refer this case to Autospritze or other MB Specialists.
