What I recently did to my car

I change back from AMG rims 18" to original 17" rims as I keep hitting on the bottom of my car when I go over the hump and some car parks. It is damn damn uncomfortable to have 18" rims and the tyre hardens after 6 months. If new tyre, it is still comfortable, I can't be changing tyres every 6 months right? Anyone knows what went wrong with my tyres or is it normal? Is it I pump too much air?

I change to Bilstein Suspension pss10.

What should I do to make my car more comfortable???

Is it normal for E250 when we step, the RPM goes up but the car never move as fast as RPM. How to solve this issue?

I need to tong for another 6 to 12 months whichever can get me more money back before I can get a new ride. My lock-in period not over, I think min. 2 years. I have slightly 4 months to 2 years. I only get back less than $20k when I down $50k.

My friend sold her VW , she down 20k get back 50k. Damn it. She laugh her heads off when she hear what I'm getting.

I wud be surprised if ur revert from 18" to 17" solves ur carpark humping issue :P By right, the overall rim/tyre profile is maintained proportionately, unless u deliberately chose some unusual profiles/offsets. The issue shud be due to the lowered height from ur pss10.

More comfort? Give up ur pss10 n revert to stock :D

Hope is the first step on the road to disappointment.

Huh, I had stocks before. PSS10 can adjust height right?

I agree with Tigger on this... I'm using 19" and I only experience what U said  when I go through flyover at high speed... never at MSCP or humps...what U experience leads to your suspension being too low for your ride.... :sword:  :sword:  :sword: and as for the RPM thingy... this is no super car.... you just have to let the engine do it's job... it's a 1.8l turbo charged fella... not some 6.3l muscle car....

u said seller.... They wann ur $$ and ur Biz....When u do not know much they will say this this and that that is good...and u will never know unless u tried it out....

Seller told me change this confirm good le. Haiz, kenna cheated again.

The world Most dangerous thing is the Vehicle. Its not about the machine weather its slow or fast. Its the person who is controlling it. The driver is the brain of the Machine. Not the machine itself.

If the driver reacts slow even the most powerful ABS(Auto braking system) will not help. The driver has to give the car the command in Order for the car to react. Afterall he is the brain of the car.

Hi, rule of thumb: know what you want and only buy what you need.

Seller is not cheating you. Because there are many definition of good; good for track, for daily use, for comfort, etc.

If you want comfort, change back to original suspension. For rims and tyres, make sure you are using the correct size/offset for your car.

hmmm...seems like most issues are easy to solve..for example turbo lag can be reduced greatly and over all improved power and response by tuning and the rest other bros had adviced.

I think the issue is you may bought yourself a car that you didnt like or deem not to your taste...maybe is time to pop into bentley or porky show room liao... :thumbsu:

I collected my car today from Autotechnic (Dunno the spelling) from Changi North.

First experience with the new stock rims. It's extremely comfortable but the ride has become so normal. I am happy with my new stock rims with new tyres. I seems to be changing tyres every 6 months. Is it normal or is it me?

I didn't feel anything with the new suspension yet. Got the Bilstien pss10. Gonna visit them again to help me switch to number 7 instead of 1. It feels abit soft. I was told handling will be good but I still can't feel it yet even when I went down a super winding road.

Overall, I'm happy now, at least when I go over uneven road, it is not as hard.

every 6 months seems fast for normal road use unless your usage is very high or your driving style is aggressive.

yup... try experimenting with the various suspension setting until you find one that suits your driving style. Don't be shy to ask the workshop to change suspension setting. good luck bro.

Hi Z,

Yup, will do so after CNY. Now everyone is so busy. I didn't get satisfaction out of my recent change. Workmanship and service level is totally unacceptable durong this period.

then is time to make the change............

adjust the setting doesn't take a whole day............at most....30mins

cheers
