Second Hand Power Mods - What to look out for?

Hey guys,

I recently got to know someone who is dekitting his ride and i was thinking of taking over his parts.

Parts include - Kleeman Pulley, Kompressor for C350 (or was it 250) etc. - parts are about 5 years old?

Question here is, since these are power modules and should be prone to the most abuse, is it wise to take over these parts?

Happy to hear your thoughts and i think this topic would be pertinant to most forumers here who are considering picking up some de-kitted parts online!

Also, can anyone advise where can we get these parts fixed? Dr Hansson?

Kleeman pulley is meant for the kompresor. It spins faster so as to boost more pressure.  IMO, it's a long lasting material...5 yrs old is just as good as new.

C350 is a V6 NA engine, no kompressor....unless it's was modded ( legal?).

You can try AutoSpritz or Juzz4cars to install. Dr Hansson doesn't do this kind of hardware work...he's a 'software' guy. LOL!

I suspect is C230...

Ok just confirmed it is a C230 Kompressor.

Just wondering if im dumping these babies into my C200, if theres gonna be alot of power pick up?

Also heard that the Pulley will give low end boost but high end loss?

Anyone have any idea how much to transfer the pulley from one car to another?
