Cylinder Misfiring after 2 months

Wonder if any other C180 7G-Tronics (1.6 Turbo) owner experienced this as well.

My ride is only 2.5 month old and I had the engine light showing on my dash. Did a quick Pandan Loop visit and was told that the 2nd and 4th cylinders sometimes misfire.

It will take CnC 1 to 2 days to rectify the problem.

Will CnC provide courtesy car during the repair period given that it is a 2.5 month old car?

My experience with C&C was yes, they provided me with a courtesy car when they replaced the fuel tank seal and later the brake servo on my W211 coz it was still under warranty. I understood from my SA that they will try their best to do that if they have their courtesy cars readily available.

There's once juz 2 mths ago I drove their courtesy car for about 2 weeks until they rectify my car's problem, but got to wait till courtesy car available then they asked me to go exchange car. Generally if ur car still under warranty n it's d car faulty, with request, chances r u will get it.

A friend of mine, her car also misfired immediately after servicing... Went to the nearest workshop to check and she was shocked to find out that 1 of her spark plug was not fitted properly.... Kicked hell in cnc

Spoon feeding teaches you nothing....but the shape of the spoon...

1.6L CGI is making the same power as a 1.8L CGI... *gulp*... might be on the threshold of the power limits...

And the sad and disappointing part of this bad experience, is the, what I would grade, super lousy service.

"Sorry sir, we can't have a courtesy car for every car we sold. When you sign the contract, you would already know that courtesy car is not covered for the warranty". - Sammo

When you get this kind of answer when you have to send a 2.5 month old $190k car in for repair, how not to get pissed right?

I'm hunting down the MD's email now. Their so-called quality customer service is Pre-sales lip service.

for me, i thought i am moving upward from Kia to MB. reality is not that simple. I tried to put my expectation as low as possible after reading this forum, ignoring juddering wiper, tik tok cooling down sound, car jerking when moving from gears to gears, pulling left.. all these so called common occurrences in w204 i can forgive. but no, it has to give me more.. jia lat. has MB been downgraded to just a marquee name?? they have to learn lesson fast from iPhone, the koreans are relentless.. sooner kia and hyundai will be the marquees. laugh me on this, but at the rate i am going, it is regret after regret everyday..
