Thinking of upgrading my current GTI to C200 or higher

Hi everyone,

I am one day old here. I have posted a new thread in vagsg.com hoping to get recommendation on my new ride that I am planning to get Q1 next year after my increment and bonus.

I am driving a GTI now, and would like to know about C class? Which version can give me the same power as my current GTI, and can I know what is expected in term of % that I need for my maintenance? 20% cost?

Or should I wait till 2014 for the new C class?

for what it's worth, the current C-class is tried and tested. if u r converting from GTI, the C won't be as nippy. the closest bhp/torque match would be the C250, but it won't drive the same.
