not tempting u lah... cos mine is now straight thru. knock thru the cat converter. and now bit itchy wan to take down the resonater as well but scare it will be too loud. so looking for high flow cat lo. =)

de-cat will have a bit more of high end power. my 16 valves is de-cat and 16 valves got 2 cat converter

de-cat will make your car lose the low end power.

yeah.... not too good for automatic cars...

Removal of the catalytic converter makes you lose a little bit of torque as you are reducing back pressure. This does not harm vehicles with automatic transmissions. Stock catalytic converters should not be removed or replaced unless you are implementing high boost solutions with rich AFR. The net gain in HP is almost negligible. Lose weight cheaper hurhurhur.

You may also stand to lose low end power in the following situations

- if you fit an unsuitable pipe diameter (too large)

- if you change your headers to 4-1 style instead of 4-2-1
