I'm a apple convert... very used to iOS... but disappointed with ip5... but will still stick with apple cos all my data's synchronised and stuff... troublesome to switch to android... if you're open, i say go for note 2! :)

i'm having the same dilemma too.. contract ends on 28-Oct, till now still can't decide which to get... Anyone managed to sync note 2 with our command online??

Note2!!! Seriously, Android apps are catching up. Bigger screen. For Apple convert, no fear. U can get data restored. Only lose sms and WA.

U can expand up to 64Gb external SDCARD. The iPhone5 like no wow factor. Ok, to be fair.... Note2 also no wow factor if u use Note1. More or less similar functions, just faster processor.

Haven't explore much yet. Just got it 12hrs ago.. yes.. u need a Gmail account for Android. But I feel that those who r stuck with Apple since iP1... hard for them to say no to iP5 cos too "wow-ed" by Jobs.... frankly how often do u change phone?

I play devil advocate. .. if you get Note2, u can still get an iPad or iPad mini to suppork Apple!

Actually most apps are developed for iP. Android still dun get much support from alot of companies to develop apps. So if you guys are used to Apple apps.. then dun jump ship to Android cos u might be disappointed. Do check out Google PlayStore if u would like to find out more in their apps. Just my 2 cents worth..

I guess it is not completely true. Most of the famous applications come for both. NFC is available only in Android ;)

Um.. ok not so much the "wow-ed" by Jobs for me although I've been on the platform since the iPhone's debut. It's more about the curated experience for both apps and stable OS releases. Makes sense for me as my work environment runs OSX. Open source is a good thing. The flipside is malware code insertion into apps in the marketplace are pretty rampant.

One thing I dislike about Android and it's adopting handset manufacturers is the non standardized way OS updates are available for the devices. Case in point - I have a 2009 HTC Hero that will not officially upgrade beyond Eclair 2.1 whereas a 2009 iPhone 3GS still runs iOS6.

Whichever you choose, integration is key.
