Agility control?

Jus wanna check with fellow sg merc members. Does the fl c180 standard without amg package comes with agility control? Understand that it actually adjust and stiffen original shocks. So was wondering if I were to install jus eibach lowering springs, it shouldn't affect the agility control function ya? Pls advise.

Thank you.

IMO, the Agility Control function will still work but not at it's best. The shocks' damping rate is tuned with the standard AMG springs & not Eibach. Incidentally, do you know that the AMG kitted car's suspension is already dropped by 1cm compared to standard ones?

Thanks jiang for your advise, but I ordered the standard ones without the amg package. So was thinking of lowering it with eibach pro kit. Also wanna check that the amg package comes with advanced agility control while standard one comes with just normal agility control?

Standard without AMG Sport package does not cones with agility control. U can lower it with aftermarket lower spring.

Hmmm I browse thru the Mercedes Benz sg Webby in the configurator, under equipment, it's states that agility control is a standard item while advance agility control is a optional add on.

Orh!! The features that adjust, stiffen & lower the suspension is called Dynamic handling mods. Are you referring to this option? The agility is standard but does not in any way perform as Dynamic handling with only comes with AMG sport package.

Fyi. Having AMG Sports package Code 950 does not equate to having Advanced Agility/Dynamic Handling Code 483. They are separate options under Mercedes Factory options. If See&See gives you both, it means they selected both options in their car configuration orders.

However, I think Code 950 is a must before Code 483 is available. i.e. For rides with Advanced Agility/Dynamic Handling, they are also AMG Sports packaged, but you have AMG Sports package without Advanced Agility/Dynamic Handling

Hope is the first step on the road to disappointment.

So installing the eibach would more or less affect the standard agility control I suppose?

U never installed lower spring for yr previous ride? Come to gtg & test it for yrself.

Getz power!! I like yellow color getz!! No worries on the newbies question, do come to the gtg & ask all you want coz butt feel thingy is hard to explain. Not all butt is the same!! Dont be shy if u are not driving a mercs.

Agility Control is Mercedes fancy name for the driving dynamics we get - a combination of steering feel, suspension setup, etc. The marketing booklet pg45 describes it.

Advanced Agility Control and Dynamic Handling is 2 names of the same thing. Not sure why Mercedes decided on 2 fancy names for the same. What can be seen visually in this, is

1. Sports button

2. Stiffer springs and lowered by 15mm

In a Advanced Agility Control package, you get 2 modes of drive.

a. Economy mode = basic driving dynamics + stiffer springs and lowered

b. Sports mode = switch in TCU mapping for sports modes, stiffer steering ratio, springs (as above), change in shocks rate

Hope is the first step on the road to disappointment.

Hi all,

Mine is said to have code 677 agility control suspension. What does this means?

Is a standard features for most C class. Its does nothing much but enhance the driving on cornering etc.
