2010 E200 CGi Repairs and maintenance routines after 16 years of usage
Dear owners of the COE paid CGi models.... now that our rides are still going around the roads, what are the repairs that u have done lately...this is just as a guide to other new owners of the cars so tt they can plan or get a sensing of the repairs and costs needed to upkeep their cars. If u r still w CnC then its wonderful... but for me who just bought a used unit, there is no apparent repairs history...basically based on test drives and gut feelings and a simple PPI. Im sure the prices of spares have changed since this model was introduced.... but just as a guide i thot it will be beneficial if all of us can share the costings... after all now many Mercedes original parts seems to come from China...is it reliable or lasting etc. For eg , im looking to change my absorbers at 186k km now and the prices between different brands or original distributors can vary by quite a lot. I hope to have members here share... Thank you very much for ur time. -

Slk bumper cover (AMG kit)
Hi all, could anyone advise what can be done if the lower bumper cover is broken and partially detached at certain points but a full replacement bumper cover is not available? The car paint workshop I approached felt that the polyurethane was too brittle to secure back in place and don’t have confidence in repairing it. Any recommendations for workshops I could try to see if they can repair it? I’d also like to give my 14yo car a bit of ‘refresh’ - maybe a full paint job, fixing the boot latch, and some interior touch-up here and there. I’d love to hear any advice since I don’t have experience updating an older car. TIA
