Hi guys.

I am new here. I own a w205 2017 and have been noticing some creaking sounds from the brakes. Brought to c&c and they say it is common for that year’s w205.

question, if i upgrade the brake kits and rims from third party, would they void ny warranty? I currently have 1.5 years left with them.

3rd party rims will not void warranty, but they will indicate in the service record that your rims are not original.

As for brakes, I guess they might void if you change them.

Are you referring to the "orrrr.....orrrr" sound when you brake at low speed?

Think TS is referring to the forward/reverse "orrrr...orrrr" (brakes & tyre sound) while parking which is normal.

Think TS wants an "excuse" for himself to change to BBK. :)

Cheers

Haha, as you know I am also looking for BBK calipers.........but got to be very wary of fake or refurbished sets out there.
