K&N airfilter void warranty?

Hi im sending in my 2013 c180cgi blue efficiency to service at C&C..

Just bought this car and wonder do i pass the k&n filter to change for me during servicing or can i changed myself w/o any warranty issue?

This thur im sending in..hope any1 can help me out thks

i am using K&N and had sent my car in several times for servicing without any issues.

They are nice to inform me that they did not change the set of air filters as mine is K&N.

 

It is best you change the filters yourself if you could. i do not think C&C will help you change stock parts to 3rd party parts unless you know them personally and they do not mind to do you a favor.

They like you. I was charged for a new stock air filter and left in my boot because I was on K&N.

Today the c&c mechanic told me that if u change 3rd party parts if any issue related to that will void warranty, i know its unlikely but now i dont know wat i shld do...

?the express 1hr servicing does not cover airfilter change, so i can go change into k&n perhaps

If you change yourself, then just keep the old (original) filter around and swap it if any problem arises… but unlikely lah.

I thought K&N do not have air filter available for  C180CGI 1.6 Turbo?

 

yours is 1.8 model?

Eventually i used e oem airfilter...

So not sure if there's any for my 2013 1.6supercharged
