COMPATIBILITY:

This interface is suitable for MERCEDES models listed below that utilise one of the following stereos:

Audio 20 / COMMAND APS

Mercedes C - Class 2004 > W203

Mercedes CLK 2004 > W209

Mercedes M - Class 2004 > W164

Mercedes R - Class 2004 > W251

Like Jenvid had said, even the Audio 20 has so many variants.

That might explain why it's not mentioned that it's possible for W211 with Audio 20.

Ya, i m confused too, coz there are so many discussion on this topic and it seems that we are not sure what types of ipod interface cable able to do the job as Audio 20 has so many variants. Hope we can find a shop in Singapore able to do the job with the right type of interface cable for the ipod.

Anyway, i wrote to this company, they are unable to deliver to Singapore without giving a good reason. I m tempted to bring in one from them but too bad!!!

Hi,

My is installed by C&C, the cable is in the glove compartment. Once its plug in a merc logo appears on the ipod and all controls are taken over by the steering wheel. My is a basic command interface it doesn't show any details on the screen. Only on the center dial.

i have not try the ipod yet, but i read in the forum that many felt the volume for the ipod while playing is very low when connected. anyway i have tried playing mp3 from cdr & the audio quality is surprisingly good.

for those who have iPod integration - .... check with you guys something.

when you plug your iPod in, it will start charging right? Does it stop when you turn off your engine? I had a look at mine today, (although I didn't wait long)..

but i didn't notice that the power supply to the ipod being cut when the engine is off...

Isn't that like draining on your car battery - to charge your iPod all the time, if you leave it permanently connected? ALso thought that it's kinda bad to charge your iPod 24x7..

Your thoughts, folks?

i'm driving a year 2004 Japan Spec CLK240 Pre FL. can anyone advice me how to do aux in for ipod??

Please check your glove compartment to see if there is an auxilliary input there!

If there's one, U need to buy a mini jack connector to connect to your iPod.
