Bro

what happen at the workshop?

which workshop did u go to?

Nothing happen bro, i just didnt wanna be tied down by See and See with the warranty...

its also a hassle to deal with them, need to book way advance ...

Service also quite bad from what i am seeing in the forum... Expensive blah blah blah...

So i decided to let go of the warranty... Personal preference.

Also, it facilitates modding... lolzzz. wanna change anything just change... no need to hold backk because of warranty....

lolzzz abit crazy lah but I down like the idea of being tied down... thats all.

Could have saved some money by getting your car from PI instead.

same here, also bought 2nd hand.

imo, better drive the 2nd hand car a while.. if it don't sound weird, it probably won't have issues.

given the mb quality, i don't think essential components (like engine, transmission, gear etc) would piang so easily.

if they would, they probably would have surfaced already.

some of the other not-so big items like mounting, bushings (and probably suspension) are not covered by warranty anyway, due to wear/tear clause. so it does make sense to ditch them (taking calculated risks).

my car do have some faint 'tok' sounds over uneven roads and humps. probably bushing or mounting are going bad.

when free, i'll soon go for my 'last servicing' with cnc and have them check. if they cover foc (unlikely), then good, if not, i'll bring outside anyway.

next mandatory servicing is coming up in about 10,000km..see how things go. ;-)

and yes... also getting tempted by the dark side... hoping to join soon

Hahaha, totally bro...

I got my ride earlier this year in Jan... till now only some steering feedback on slow speed turn when the steering is turned one and a half rounds.

So Bye Bye CNC, Bye Bye expensive and poor service...

However, i will still bring back to CNC for the 60k major service. Just so their mechs can tell me which part wear and tear... then go outside do....

lolzzz....

PS: Welcome to the darkside !! hahahahaa :roadrage:

I got my E250 from Vincar... With moonroof some more... Cheaper by almost 60k from Si & Si... Same spec... MBM do the servicing as told by SE... Now starting to plan to mod Liao.... 1st ECU... Then exhaust... Then....... Wait for CO approval... Haiz.....

I'm prepared to meet my Maker...

Umm... I would not recommend MBM from my experience with them.

Autospritz was recommended to me and they were fast, professional, and cheaper whilst using original parts.

Thinking of sending my pre own c200k to them to check although been serviced by CNC only 2 months ago. CnC doesn't wanna divulge details.

Go

1) Start black @ Boon Lay - They have this Kompetenz Package (not sure if still around). Quite awesome, pickup and return for service. Real time saver at decent price.

2) Chip Soon Auto @ Tampines - Damn competent (pun intended), spotted problems all my other workshops couldn't see.

update:

finally get the time to go cnc...

the SE rev the car a bit, the car shake a bit. he concluded its the mounting issue. so he recommended replacing them all

i'm quite surprised that c&c is replacing the engine mountings under warranty (i recall the book said not covered)..

gear mounting isn't though. but its supposed to be a hundred plus.

the 'tok' sound is said to be suspension.. he's getting them replaced under warranty also.

looking at these.. perhaps its better to stay with them till warranty ends, after all.
