if you change to K&N filter, you must remember to tell the guy when you service your car not to change the air filter or else later they go and change it and throw away you K&N filter

i've had the K&N drop in filters for both my W208 & W140 for almost a year now & it seems fine thus far..

just remember to have them cleaned as prescribed in their cleaning schedule..
