Any W210 owners here?

Hi,

Just bot a w210 and want to learn more about the ride. Anyone who knows about where to get accessories and parts for it? I need to replace the side step on rear left passenger door which came out, replace a bulb on speedometer etc. Thanks in advanced!

Welcome!! Side step? Chrome or plastics? Any pictures? Bulb on speedo call Sonic for advise.

Any idea where I could get those with lights on the side step for w210. Thanks for reference for the bulb.

Also a couple of stupid questions but on command console there is a gray coloured on/off round switch(like a light switch) - not sure what it is for.

Another question, where is the switch for the opening of the engine hood. Paiseh.....

Where did you purchase the car? Does it comes with manual? Those side step are called door sill, side step are meant for SUV . U get these accessories from ebay or ask Sonic. Pay them a visit ask them to show u how to pop open yr hood!!

IIRC, bonnet latch is the red one in psngr footwell under the glove compartment

If you're not too picky about used parts, Propel Auto Parts along Kranji Rd should have a stash of W210 stuff.

Ok will go check it out later cos need to check my auto transmission oil as it seems that whenever I start the car in the morning - it would have a bit of problem engaging from 2nd to 3rd gear. But once it is able to do so(can feel a tug when gear change), the rest of the day, it would be ok and rather transparent...not sure what would be the problem.

Hi my advise is that u send yr ride either to MBM or Stackblack for fully body checkout. While u were there ask them all you want on your car function & features. Meanwhile, u go google for a manual of yr ride. Good luck!!
