Audio 20-Aux Active but cannot find the connector?

Good Morning to all.

Audio 20 (2004 CLK)

When I press n hold CDC for a while, the Audio 20 will show "Aux Active".

Does this mean that the cable is already connected to the HU?

If yes, I searched but cannot find the connector.

(I googled n if it is there, I should find it in the glove box?)

Or the "Aux Active" just means that the HU has this capability.

And I need to get the correct cable n install it?

Tks for ur time.

not an expert for your model but yes generally the aux input is in the glove box ...

if you dun have that, you may need to go online and buy the cable to connect it to the Audio 20

For the 3 pce meal cables many of us has it as spare. Asking around $50, just shout out if interested.

Thanks.

Will decide what is the way forward.

Easiest is to get a Bluetooth speaker like Jabra Cuiser for example.

For the 3 pc cables are only in use in conjunction with the Media Interface.

His Audio 20 if he has an Aux out he will need a 3.5mm Headphone jack!

Don't think I have the aux connector.

Look like I have to do this if I really want it.

sometimes by the time you install this and that, it''ll be more expensive than going into a ICE shop and getting them to replace to one of the latest pioneer models with DVD, TV, audio, ipod this and that .... :P:lol::lol::lol:

I totally agree.

Last time was easier. Just drive in, change the HU and you are good to go.

Now, need to worry about steering controls, need to worry about maintaining the look ... ...

they have those facia plates in thos eshops .. will give it some uniformity ... and not expensive too

but yes, unless you fork out another $100+ , you will most likely lose the steering controls.
