Changing brake pad

2 ways:

(a) head straight to agent/MBM and get them to change

(B) buy from Merc stockist and get w/k to change

If only change brake pads, I think (a) is most easy stress-free option ... (B) will not save you that much money

oh... but when i went there to get my brakes service, kelvin (mbm) did mention to me that he gave me a discount... plus i remember being quoted $500+ on the phone for changing brakes and disc, and paid $400+ when i went to make payment.. so i thought that was the benefits... pai seh..

Yes, Kelvin has been giving "goodwill discounts" to SGMerc members that he recognized (you can see the discount listed on the invoice).

But after 29 March 2008, it is now an Official SGMerc Group Discount of 20% off labour fees that is given to ALL SGMerc Members with the official decal (until such time when the SGMerc cash card is available). :)
