05 W211 thinking of upgrading rim/tyre

Hi everyone, my first post here.

I need advise from expert here, my buddy have a prodrive 225 40 18 fitted on his present 2011 W204. Can this rim/tyre be fitted to my 05 W211? My present rim(stock) and tyre is 225 55 16.

Welcome!' check the offset for rim not the tyres spec. Head down to any tyres shop will able to advise you.

Thanks. Will check with tyre shop on the offset.
