"Service brake" Error

Hi everyone,

Merry Xmas in Advance!!

Need some advice.. My W211 E200 have a "service Brake" error message, send to my mechanic and he said need to replace the pump which is ard $2k+..

Any other advice from expert here..Can repair? or cheaper alternative?

Is SBC pump error ? Or can be the gear selector or the pressure reservoir issue too.

I also not sure..haha..

Will send to other mechanics to check. Hope its a small issue..
