Command Online Navi Routing

Hi folks,

I've been trying to use my Command Online navigation yesterday with much amusement. All seems well but the unit doesn't seems to advice me on the shortest route to my destination - macham bringing me to tour half a Singapore before reaching my end point. E.g to get to Jurong Point from the north, the system will bring you down to the eastern side of Singapore before asking you to swing all the way to the west. Haaaa... :pound:

When checking the Navi settings, I notice that I can do some fine tuning such as selecting the fastest route, shortest route..... static route, Dynamic route....

The default setting for route plotting is via Dynamic route. Thus, may I seek the advice of seniors and gurus here on which settings you guys use that gives a better navi routing? I don't expect it to perform as good as a Garmin set, but at the very least, prevent me from touring half a Singapore when using the system.
