Oh btw read somewhere else that the STI was actually spec for RON98 fuel. So when using 95, timing is actually retarded. UK only have RON95 & RON98.

Personal experience after oil and spark plugs change - using caltex plat for 2 fills, feel that rev is powerful, a certain feel that the engine has more to offer. Saw SPC with car wash offer, give it a try with their highest premium petrol, that feel is suddenly gone... waited till near empty tank, swap to V-Power, has yet to get that initial feel back... but really regretted with the 2nd choice. May be it is just butt feel like some would say, but I certainly want that feel back, gosh it sounded so ''broke back". :
