Reverse Camera

E211. The reverse camera sometimes do not work while reversing. There is not picture even though the reverse sensor is working. Gone through several servicing at C&C and even they had rewired it as well as tightening the rear camera. But after a few weeks, it does not work.

Anyone experienced the same phenonmenon and care to share how it could be rectified effectively. Thanks.

Could be your video cable got problem or faulty cam!

Hi, it's MB parts or aftermarket? If it's factory parts, C&C can do the diagnosis by DAS to see what is the problem. If it's the aftermarket, very like it is either the power issue or the aftermarket MMI problem as seldomly problems coming up from the backup camera itself.

It comes with the vehicle and suspected that they used 3rd party to install rather than OEM....

Anyone with similar made with same problem?

Ok bro! Is your reverse cam comes with a small boxed up LCD screen next to your rear view mirror?

If it is, CnC outsourced it to this place.

They also did your reverse sensor!

That is correct. Well..C&C is still committed to resolve the problem since the problem was first raised during the warranty period which unfortunately expired one month ago...

CnC didn't installed it so I am not sure they can fix it.

Maybe tell your CnC SA to fix an appt for you at Tomo-Cse FOC charges.

Hi Gideon, did you get your reverse camera fixed? Mine is starting to give problems, it would start out fine everytime I first engage the reverse gear, then the picture would gradually become more noisy and ultimately be full of static only.
