Hi guys,

I am so sad last tues got bang from the back by a jap car. Went to C&c to file for warranty claim. Then that's where the disappointment came! Took them 1week to get the third party's insurer to admit liability n worst part is they giving me a jap car for 3days or $60 per day or loss of use.

Any bro here had the same exp pls share share. Or anyway I can ask them to get me a conti car atleast?

Did you get the Mercedes-Benz Motor Insurance by Chartis (The one recommended by C&C SE)

It should include 15 days Loss of Use / Replacement Car.

Call the Daimler Fleet at 96353807 to activate the replacement car.

(If you've already done this and they gave you a jap car...sorry can't help)

But I'm not sure if your insurance premiums will go up after using this service...

when I reported the accident at the PandanLoop center 2 years ago, cnc arranged with the insurance company a replacement car. Very efficient n convenient as the car arrive 2 hours later. Its from Daimler Fleet.

I was driving a c200 at that time and the replacement car was a e200NGT.

From that experience, I renew my insurance with them although it cost me about $400 premium comparing to other car insurance like Liberty or NTUC.

Hi guys,

I am with chartis like wat cnc recommended!

The claim officer from cnc say that if I claim from my own insurance then they will give me a merc as replacement car.

But now becos I am claiming third party they will only give me a jap car or $60 per day.

I think the claim officer from cnc trying to snooker me leh. The best part is he claim they earn a little bit from the repair of mine bumper only. The replacement bumper cost the insurance 3-4k!!!! I think that is a very lousy attitude to treat their own customers! Shouldn't they go all out to treat their customer nicer n fight for the customers right?

I think I call chartis tmr b4 I send in my car to cnc.

Haiz hope I can get this matter resolve soon.

I don't see the logic of claim own insurance then get merc as replacement car. The other party is at fault and should compensate the loss of use with a similar class car.

Maybe C&C is trying to tell us the jap car is of similar class.

When C&C try to sell you the car, it is "The Best Or Nothing!"

When it comes to replacement car, "jap car or $60 will do"

I have nothing against jap cars, but is C&C doing enough?

Dear bros n sis,

I went down earlier in the afternoon to settle it Liao.

The guy was the most senior guy for the dept there. Was pissed with his attitude. Like not his problem like that.

I called up my insurer (chartis) in the morning n they told me to claim against my own insurance n they will provide me a merc for replacement car. Chartis will then claim the repair cost from the third party insurer. But I have to pay the own damage excess first n then claim back direct from the third party insurer. Which my insurer told me the cnc guy should know wat to do and do it for u.

Told them the claim exec like Bo chap like tat. Makes me really pissed. They told me to ask him to do it as it's his job.

The best part when I reached cnc met a fren's sis working there n she told me he is like the manager in the dept n his attitude is always like that.

Told him my steering keep going to the left when I let go my hand n he keep saying cant be. Must be the road. Like I first day driving like that. Even my fren that went with me also tell me to change ppl better.

Now I just hope he can really do my car properly n not give me anymore problem.

Can't wait to get my ride back.

Hope no bro here suffer this type of problem like me. Maybe because I am a young chap driving a car under my dad's name thats why I was treated that way. Lol

That's my point to the claim agent. Is cnc doing enough for their customer? Told him even if the third party insurer only offered me a jap car cnc should offer to top up the difference n give me a merc from their fleet as I am their customer n they are charging 3-4k for a bumper. The agent told me they cnc earn a little only. That make me lol. I seriously think it's him tat dun want to arrange for me a merc rather than cannot. Taking the easy way out thinking I am just a young chap that got into trouble with dad's car.

I think after taking my car better check properly. Anything not done properly going to open him liao. No more giving face. Enough is enough.

Unker sama2 sim thia also! Car 2 mths old & only 2.5k km nia! :Cry:

Unker stupid lah! Not enough sleep still follow frens go smlc tree top walk.

Car is high forgot to see a steel pole on the left side of the parking lot when cumming out of the parking lot.

Crashed the Left side - side step & dented the rear fender.

Not claiming insurance! No time for them!

Maybe should buy ins premium for 3rd party, fire & theft only!

Appointment there tmr for the repairs & for an appt. made earlier to do some retrofit.

They have repaired paint work & dents for my previous 2 cars and the jobs were excellent!

Hope it will turn out to be a pleasant experience!

BTW for the retrofit, initial uninformed guy told me not possible.

Then I send my regards to him & came back to say yes it's possible.

Quoted me $8k for the retrofit! I send my regards again & the final price was >50% off. :lol:
